A couple from Lyon took to the streets, having just arrived on vacation, to Nice, in the Alpes-Maritimes, to demonstrate against the Covid-19 vaccine, Saturday August 14. “It’s too dangerous, no one will ever inoculate me or my family with something against my will”, says the father of the family. The watchword in the procession remains the protection of freedoms.
In the procession, a couple decided not to vaccinate their 13-year-old daughters. “We don’t know the long-term consequences, I don’t want to play Russian roulette”, assures the father. These worried families were joined by yellow vests, caregivers, firefighters. They consider the policy of the health pass “liberticidal”. “They are taking away our freedoms, it is not possible, they want to separate vaccinated people from non-vaccinated people”, denounces a demonstrator. A father tries to show his son that he will “fight for his freedom”. 6,000 people were gathered according to the prefecture, 11,600 according to the demonstrators, twice less than last week.
